Vicky is a Haitian-American and first-generation college graduate passionate about financial literacy and youth empowerment. Her career began as a teller at a Miami credit union, where she saw the transformative impact of financial education. As she advanced in marketing, Vicky led initiatives to bring financial literacy to schools and youth programs, inspiring young people to take control of their futures. Currently at NBCUniversal as part of the NBCU Academy team, Vicky continues to drive outreach strategies that promote digital literacy and empower the next generation of creators. As a Knight Emerging City Champion, she is committed to empowering youth through Building Champions Miami, equipping them with the tools and confidence to chase their dreams and become future leaders.

Meet The Team
Born to an immigrant family from Haiti and the Bahamas, Derrick grew up facing economic and cultural challenges. These experiences fueled his determination to succeed. He became a paramedic/firefighter, dedicating his career to serving his community with compassion and reliability. Derrick’s journey from a disadvantaged neighborhood to a community hero showcases his resilience and unwavering spirit.
